T'ai Chi Studio in Karlsruhe, Germany

T’ai Chi Ch’uan is a very old Chinese Art of Movement.
Effortlessness is the basis and the root is Tao.

T’ai Chi Ch’uan

Is an extraordinarily diverse exercise. It is the Art of Movement and improves physical balance and awareness, grace and creativity.

It is a remedial exercise that includes breathing and relaxation exercises and it helps to keep body and mind healthy. T’ai Chi Ch’uan is not only a gentle form of self defense, an inner martial art, it is meditation in motion.

T’ai Chi Ch’uan is a chance and possibility for the elderly and untrained. The exercise leads to deeper insight and to self-respect – but also for the entire Creation. The exercise is both, Goal and Path. I cordially invite you to join to go this path with joy and satisfaction.

Yang Style

I teach my classes in the classic Yang Style of T’ai Chi Ch’uan (in the tradition of Cheng Man Ch’ing). The short form and partner exercises (push hands) are taught and practiced. The short form consists of three parts. Each parts can be learned and practiced separately.

Warm-ups, intros and partner exercises (push hands) are practiced in all classes. I lay special emphasis on the learning of the correct form in order to allow for the most effective practice at home.

An introduction into the techniques of ZEN meditation are offered in every class. Each training session ends with a short meditation. We talk about the basics of T’ai Chi Ch’uan and meditation in every class and you have the opportunity of asking questions.
